East Java Fashion Harmony 2024, held at Midodaren Beach, Tulungagung, carried the theme “Rise of Reminiscence” to promote traditional East Java weaving. The event presented the works of young designers, local and foreign professionals including Ivan Gunawan, as well as models with disabilities. Tenun Mulya from Kediri also showcased its signature tenun ikat fabric in a contemporary fashion collection made from natural wastra. In addition to the fashion show, the event also included a wastra discussion, an MSME exhibition, and the launch of the batik motif “Omah Budoyo”. As part of Karisma Event Nusantara, EJFH strengthens the culture and creative economy of East Java.
