What is Tenun Mulya?

Tenun Mulya was established in September 2016. Mulya is taken from the name “Mulyadi”, a sarong weaving craftsman in the 1950s-1970s. The name "Tenun Mulya" serves as a tribute to his dedication and aims to restore the weaving heritage of Bandar Lor village.

Tenun Mulya is one of the Kediri ikat weaving centers located in Bandar Lor. Tenun Mulya produces woven fabrics with various motifs and colors. The woven fabric is woven by Kediri weaving craftsmen traditionally using ATBM (Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin).
