HUT DEKRANASDA

The 44th anniversary of Dekranasda, which took place on May 15-18, 2024 at Pamedan Pura Mangkunegaran, Solo, became a prestigious event for the archipelago's craftsmen to showcase their best work. One of the highlights of the event was the collaboration between Tenun Mulya from Kediri and renowned designer Didiet Maulana, who combined East Java's signature tenun ikat with elegant contemporary designs. This collaboration not only strengthened the existence of local wastra at the national level, but also emphasized Dekranasda's commitment in supporting cultural preservation and empowerment of craft MSMEs through synergy between local crafters and professional designers.
