East Java Fashion Harmony (EJFH) 2024, held on June 22 at Midodaren Beach, Tulungagung, became an important event in the preservation of East Java wastra with the theme “Rise of Reminiscence.” The event was also attended by the Governor of East Java, who made a special appearance wearing a collaboration between Tenun Mulya from Kediri and local designers. Tenun Mulya's signature ikat woven fabric was exclusively designed into an elegant formal outfit that represented regional pride. The involvement of the East Java Governor in wearing local woven clothing symbolizes real support for MSMEs and cultural preservation, while strengthening EJFH's position as a strategic stage for promoting the richness of East Java's wastra to the national and international levels.
