DIDIET MAULANA

Tenun Mulya from Kediri also showed its existence in the national fashion scene by collaborating with renowned designer Didiet Maulana, where the distinctive tenun ikat fabric produced by Tenun Mulya was used as material for Didiet Maulana's personal clothing. This collaboration is a form of the designer's appreciation and support for the preservation of the archipelago's wastra, especially East Java tenun, while showing that traditional fabrics have a special place in the personal style of Indonesian fashion figures.
