East Java Fashion Harmony 2024, held at Midodaren Beach, Tulungagung, is an annual event that highlights the richness of East Java's wastra with the theme “Rise of Reminiscence.” In this event, international designer Voravaj Bangkok from Thailand made a special appearance with a contemporary fashion collection inspired by traditional Indonesian fabrics. One of the highlights was Voravaj Bangkok's collaboration with Tenun Mulya from Kediri, which presented East Java's signature tenun ikat in a futuristic yet culturally meaningful style. This collaboration not only showed cross-country harmonization in the fashion world, but also strengthened Tenun Mulya's position as a representation of local wastra capable of penetrating international markets and stages.
